Job Description:
Profile Title: Financial Literacy Fellow

Roles and Responsibilities:- 

  • Taking in-person sessions with the school's students from low-income and under-resourced classrooms in Delhi to teach the basics of personal finance across 5-6 sessions an hour long with the schools.

  • Curating the curriculum for the classes being taught, with the objective of inculcating analytical and critical thinking about personal finance.

  • Ideating and coming up with innovative teaching methodologies to impart financial literacy to school students, dumbing down the concept suited to student's comprehension abilities.

  • Working closely with Teach For India Fellows to conduct the sessions smoothly and be in a constant feedback loop to improve each session using real-time classroom response.

  • Assisting the initiative by taking various leadership roles for the smooth functioning of FLF like recruitment, marketing, etc.

Skills Required:- 

  • Elementary knowledge of personal finance.

  • Prior teaching experience preferred (at a family/ community/ organizational level).
